Discount Glass has been awarded the contract for the new Avecina Medical center opening up in Middleburg, Florida, in the winter of 2020. This will be the fourth and newest location for Avecina Medical in the Jacksonville area. Recently, Avecina Medical has been making headlines as they are the only company in Jacksonville to be offering rapid COVID-19 testing. Appointments can be made online and results are available within 24 hours. We're proud to be partnered with the pioneer of coronavirus testing in Jacksonville who is greatly helping our community.
The new Avecina location will be part of a mutli-use medical complex with Avecina Medical as the anchor tenant and owner. This sleek, two-story complex is receiving our Coral Industries FL300T Thermal Storefront System with 1" PPG Solarban 70 Low-E coated glass with a bronze tint. We chose this particular application of glass because it's very energy conscious and offers a substantial amount of energy savings, as well as being a structurally strong installation.
